The Program Assistant Role will work with the Program Manager, Metabolic Team, and Consortium Partners to successfully deliver on the goals of the two-year program. By providing exceptional operational expertise to the program, this role is an opportunity to help shape the future direction of a circular built environment in Europe.
In addition, you’ll get to know many of the frontrunner organizations driving this transition, and deepen your understanding of circularity in the built environment.
The main responsibilities of this role include
Running the daily coordination of the of the program, together with the Program Manager
Planning and attending key meetings and events, taking notes when needed. You follow-up and coordinate on action points when relevant with all relevant program partners
Preparing and sending out memos, surveys, and other team communications as needed
Co-creation and maintenance of necessary program management documentation and progress reporting tools, ensuring the efficient and accurate tracking of the accelerator;
Collaborating with the broader consortium to support the design, scheduling, and content development for roundtables and events;
Assisting in research tasks: supporting our team in executing a systems analysis of the European built environment and construction sector.
Co-drafting of key Metabolic report deliverables with the Program Manager and broader team.
We are looking for someone with...
1 - 3 years work experience
Experience in sustainability consulting, or as an (assistant) project/program manager
The ability to work independently
An energetic, solutions-focussed, proactive spirit;
Enjoys fast-paced environments and adapting to uncertainty;
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization;
Great team working skills;
Strong written and spoken communication skills (English);
Previous experience with stakeholder management.
Proven curiosity in sustainability, social impact, and/or the built environment
Self-awareness of personal career development goals.
