• Lead and manage projects focused on land regeneration, regional bioeconomies, and sustainable food systems.
• Work closely with partners and clients to design and implement impactful strategies.
• Guide project teams, synthesizing technical and contextual knowledge into clear insights.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with analysts and designers to create compelling reports, tools, and frameworks.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, from local communities to global organizations.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in bioeconomic policy, sustainable finance, and regenerative agriculture.
• Represent Metabolic at events, workshops, and strategic discussions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team innovation.
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities and shaping proposals.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced – At least 5+ years working in agri-food, sustainable landuse, or similar topic.

• Multidisciplinary – A strong grasp of both environmental systems (forestry, soil health, ocean ecosystems) and human systems (finance, governance, community engagement).

• A strong project manager – Able to oversee complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with confidence and precision.

• A systems thinker – Able to synthesize diverse information and see the bigger picture.

• An effective communicator – Comfortable engaging with stakeholders from farmers to investors, and skilled at translating technical insights into actionable strategies.

• A problem solver – Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable navigating uncertainty.

• Globally aware – Experience working across different geographies and cultures is a strong plus.

• Fluent in English – Additional languages are an advantage.
